1medium headcauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
1tablespoonolive oil
1wholeonion, sliced
1wholegreen bell pepper, sliced
1wholered bell pepper, sliced
2clovesgarlic, minced
1poundthinly sliced beef (sirloin or flank steak)
1cupprovolone cheese, shredded
1teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
to tastesalt and pepper
for garnishfresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cauliflower florets to the empty side. Cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften slightly, stirring occasionally.
In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced beef on top of the vegetables and cauliflower. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned and cooked through.
Drizzle Worcestershire sauce over the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined.
Evenly sprinkle the provolone cheese over the top of the skillet. Cover the skillet and allow the cheese to melt for about 2-3 minutes.
Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove the skillet from the heat.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Feel free to add more vegetables or adjust the seasoning to your taste.
