Instructions
In a large skillet or a wide, deep pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil.
Add the fettuccine or spaghetti to the boiling broth and reduce the heat to a simmer.
Cook the pasta for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.
Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the ingredients until creamy.
Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the pasta is well coated and the sauce thickens a bit.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Remove from heat and let sit for a minute to thicken slightly before serving.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese on top.
