Instructions
In a slow cooker, place the chicken breasts at the bottom. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is well covered.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. If using, add the frozen peas on top.
Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Once done, shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker. Stir everything to combine.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well incorporated.
Serve the creamy ranch chicken over rice, noodles, or with crusty bread.
Notes
Serve in bowls with a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley on top for a pop of color. Pair with some crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
