Caprese Garlic Bread
A delicious garlic bread topped with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

baguette, sliced in half lengthwise

tablespoons
unsalted butter, softened

cloves
garlic, minced

fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
2
cups
cherry tomatoes, halved

cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
1
tablespoon
balsamic glaze
to taste
salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter and minced garlic. Mix well to create a garlic butter spread.
Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the baguette halves.
Place the garlic bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges start to crisp up.
Remove from the oven and layer the sliced mozzarella cheese on top of the garlic bread, followed by the halved cherry tomatoes.
Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once out of the oven, remove from the baking sheet and sprinkle the chopped fresh basil over the top.
Drizzle balsamic glaze over the bread and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slice into pieces and serve warm.
Notes
Serve warm for the best flavor.
